Planning a Siesta Key Beach Event
Organized events on public beaches like Siesta Beach go through Sarasota County’s permitting process, and tents on public sand are very limited, so most tented celebrations take place on private property just off the beach.
From May 1 through October 31, Sarasota County requires beach furniture, tents, and other temporary structures to be removed from the beach each night, and beachfront lighting must be shielded or turtle-friendly. Two bridges connect Siesta Key to the mainland, and island roads get busy on weekends and in season, so we schedule deliveries with extra time built in.

How do you anchor a tent near the beach?
It depends on the tent, the surface, and the conditions. We choose anchoring suited to sandy ground, and on decks or pavers we use ballast such as water barrels or concrete blocks. Our crew confirms the setup on install day.
Can we rent furniture without a tent?
Absolutely. Tables, chairs, lounge sets, linens, tabletop, and lighting are all available on their own.
